| I can't compare the Blade to other electrics because this is the first one I've owned. The Blade is a ball to fly. No, it's not a Raptor (I've got 2 of those, too), but for spur-of-the-moment flying, it's quite good. I take mine to work, and burn off a couple of battery packs at lunch. The little bugger is a bit of a handful compared to the nitro machines, but if you want to keep the thumbs sharp; this one will do it.
It's only a $200 heli; it ain't perfect, but what you get is a heli that's fun to fly, it will certainly keep your thumbs sharp, replacement parts are cheap, and it's surprisingly durable. The stock blades are basically covered balsa wood and they do get knicked up rather fast. Replacements are cheap, but even dinged up, they fly fine with a touch of tape to repair the scuffs.
