This has now happened twice to me!
I have read and done the "fix" from Ricks site with the same results.
Is there anything else I can do?
Is there a better clutch or clutch bolts out on the market that will eliminate this problem?

Right now I am unable to extract the bolts and I dont dare drill them out in risk of damaging the one way bearing.
If I buy a new clutch is there a way to use stonger bolts or somehow drill and tap it for larger ones?

Wes,
Did you use the included clutch bolts or something else. I had this happen long before Ron posted it on his page. Elongating the holes to remove stress from the bolts prevented them from shearing. If you used the supplied bolts, they will drill out very easily compared to the hardened bolts that are used elsewhere. I have found through personal experience that only the supplied bolts will work. The harder bolts shear quickly. The supplied bolts are not the same as standard hardware.

The stock clutch bolt are made of stainless steel which is softer then the standard black steel bolts. The stainless screws will usually bend before they shear. If you are shearing them off so often there must be other issues. Possibly there is too much play between the clutch and the fan hub. If you put the end of the clutch in the fan hub does it fit snuggly or does it drop in quite easy and have play if you rock it side to side? Too much play can cause the clutch to wiggle inside the fan hub resulting in premature failure of the screws.

JR should really have used 4 screws at 90 degrees apart with this design. Would have been alot stronger and there really isn't alot of material for the screws to thread into. One way bearing should have been further up.

Oh well.. Hindsight is a wonderful thing.

Carl

BTW... You can get a tool set called the Screw-Out which you can use to remove the broken screw without having to drill completely through the bolt. I know 'Sears' carries them now or you can check a local industrial supply store.

yes

Yes I did use the supplied bolts the first time and second time.
And there is no play in the clutch to the fan hub.

Yes Jr should improve this design because it sucks!
