Did the second one seriously, actually go down? If so, how bad was it? Can't possibly be as bad as the first one...

Tail exploded in mid flight. I think the boom is what broke first, because the tail case and back looked good still.

My Guess

Battery Pak shorted out!
I know a guy...won't mention any names..Gary who's mille crashed in a field and caught fire. It was only 2 gallons old with all new servos, gyro, muscle pipe, WC, everything but receiver. Hmmm....he crashed b/c the receiver was junk (way out of tune is my guess from previous crashes). Am I tellin it right Gary S?

I agree that the event was first class but the 15-20mph all day gusts sucked! I was told that it always blows there at the open fields of the AMA like that. Cant do anything about mother nature but it almost knocked my EZ over and it bent several pivots so yes it wasnt a beautiful calm day thats for sure.

I guess, but from the looks of one of the pictures it looks like the brain on his GY-601 is all melted.... trashing an exepensive heli is one thing, but melting the electronics sucks even more
