| There is another huge gain you forgot to mention, and that is the fact that with the raptor t/r setup, you have zero possibility of the pitch fork ever hitting the t/r case linkage pivot point. With the stock century fork it could hit. If not adjusted properly it can hit, if you servo strips it can hit, if you get slop in you linkage it can hit. Even if you put fuel tubing on the shaft to prevent it from hitting, the fuel tubing will soften up over time, needing replacement to protect it from hitting. With the raptor pitch fork you have no chance of it ever hitting and binding, and that is a huge gain in my book. And you even get an extra 5 degrees of throw, cool. I know on mine I was able to turn the limit on my 401 up from 80% with the stock configuration, to 100% with the modified configuration. I was doing some piro's today, and they were blinding speed, left and right. So you can't tell me this mod does not work good, I know it works good, have you tried it? Don't knock it till you try it. I flew the stock setup, it was just ok. |
