| Well I cut it very close today. I flew into HSV today, I brought my helicopter with me as next week there will be a competition in Birmingham. I packed it on a Pelican Airtight case, but I forgot to unplug the batteries. Somehow with the movement the switch must have turned on and the servos started to bind. they probably eventually overheated and started to burn. I lost the Gyro servo, the elevator servo, the gyro the bateries and the regulator and if I had packed in something else than that airtight case. I could have caused a fire on the airplane.
Next time any of you fly take out your batteries! |
