I am looking to purchase one of the above helis, I had decided on the 3DNT, but have noticed a Rocket For Sale on Skylines UK notice board.
Can anyone help as to what differences there are, other than the engine size.ie: 3D capabilities, stability, parts etc.

Hi Peter
The Rocket is more stable and very good for fast flying and windy places.3D is possible but more bigger figures.With the OS 140 is small power max 8,5° Pitch.But we are testing now the new 145AAR Webra there we are standing at 11° Pitch to time and we think it´s not the end because the machine is not complete runing in,also we found a cheeper Tuned Pipe as the 900 Hatori.Babyhermann my friend means he is a lot faster now as before.
If speed is your need and you prefere the more bigger and rounder 3D stile is this configuration the right one.
The NT is the quikly one like a fun flyer by the aeroplanes, very fast in maneuvers and with the 91AAR Webra also a lot faster as normal helicopters.The new clutch can stand the power of this motor with the 12mm MixControl carb from webra or 12mm Standart carb from Löterle.
Technik beetwenn NT and Ro is different. NT is belt drive in main and tail.
Rocket has steel teflon gear and tail drive is by 5mm stainless steel tube
Clutch in NT is complete mounted on 8mm long crankshaft.By Rocket half on motor half on heli.
Rotorhead asembely is the same only the paddles are different in weight ,but the origional on NT I do not like because in fast forward flight the heli is not stable,there I prefere the SAB 601/20gr. they work well and look more pretty as the origionel plastik one.
Rocket paddels I want also change but I am waiting for the 145 AAR Webra and then make the set up new.
Now I stopp because my fingers wound from changing sites in the translationbook hope this help you a little bit.

8.5° pitch?

I would have expected the OS 140 to pull much more than that... What head speed were you running?

I can´t say it exactly because nothing inside in mine for mesure,but it looks like 2000-to 2100 in straight ahead.
There I am always looking that the motor not goes down on his knees,in this way he can not hold more than 8,5° pitch,otherwise he is going down by rpm and begin with overheating.It is a little bit better with 12,5% cool power 9°there are possible but not more.
I can also not imagine how the 145AAR Webra hold 11°,but may be it is the same different like between 91 OS and the 91AAR.
It looks like that the alu liner brings the heat better away and in this way the power goes higher, we have there max 85°Celsius with 12,5%cool power and 92° without nitro,but without nitro a half degree pitch less.

At that head speed, there's probably a lot of power being wasted just overcoming air resistance. Can the drive ratio be changed to run the motor at its best RPM with the head turning slower, maybe 1750 RPM?

Hi freestyle
In this heli it is not possible to change the gear ratio,I am also in the same meaning gear ratio is to long for the OS,spezialy by using the 900 Hatori.
We found another cheeper and a little more longer pipe,this works great with the Webra,there we can go down to 1350 rpm and up to 2200rpm.We will test it also on the OS and see if there is a chance to bring him in a better rpm-situation,with the 900 it is not possible to work well under 1700 rotor rpm.
