Dnam. Do not get the OS91 Cspec PS. Just buy the regular 91 Cspec with the 3 needles carb, save you some money over the PS. Then send the engine to OMI for him to convert it to a Kline pump setup for $80. You will be much happy with this setup because it function just like the YS, but with load of torque and power. It costed me $150 to go to this setup with my 91Cspec PS (PS stands for piece oh $hit).

I am using the Fut 9252 servos for the pitch and cyclic, a Rev. Max for the speed control.

Duc,

Can't you just put a 3rd needed on the return line? Nathan from Rick's was telling me about that and you only need about $25 in parts? I am not sure yet on how to do this but I'll find out tomorrow...

I'll be using Rev Max as well, and of course 601.

Glo,

Right now 1 EUR = 1.284 USD (online currency converters work great )

999.00 EUR = 1283.00 USD

If you don't live in an EU country price is only 861.21 EUR (no VAT) = 1106.00 USD

I have several members in my cllub with the Cspec PS and third needle for the return line installed, and they all end up did the Kline conversion. One guy had to replace his Perry pump twice before he was convinced. You don't want the hassle we all experienced. As a matter fact, OS is coming out with a brand new Cspec with three needles and a better pump. I think the pro already has them, but the public will be in September. You may want to wait or go to the Japan Shops to buy them.

Thanks Duc!

Eye witness report from Europe:
Quote
I saw the revolution "live" in St. Johann (Austria in April). I got also a
"power presentation" with Yamada ST91, Hatori 900, 30% coolpower, 1900 rpm,
690er X-Blades, 14 degree pitch!
I never saw any helicopter with this performance... It is like a rocket...
Hard to believe and hard to beat, even from electric helicopters...
The team-pilots where doing most of the 3D demonstrations flights with only
about 70% of possible engine performance, because of the 3D style is
changing in germany to a smooth, acrobatic style. 70% performance is also
almost enough for competitors...
I even saw the new MP91 from Henseleit. But this heli won't have the
performance like a REVOLUTION regarding to its limited rotor diameter size
(also a small heli doesn't look as fast as a bigger one).

I wonder what it would be like with a Plettenberg motor... There was some show in Europe and they were demonstrating that the Pletti HP370/40/A2 could run a washing machine's tumble dry cycle no problem...

I would just stick with the IC for now, then convert to the electric later when the pricing settle down on motor, ESC, and battery. You could stock up five YS91 for the costs of the Plettenberg motor, a compatible ESC, and one battery. This is also the reason I got the 3DMP....lots cheaper than the 90 size electric.
