They will send you a new one free of charge. Just make sure when you call to get your RMA number, to have the replacement shaft triple checked. Don't assume it's straight because it's "new".. Maybe ask Genovia to personally check it for you.

You don't need to ask. Care and Support is what we also do

I replaced mine to get rid of a wobble but the one that came out and the new one passed the "roll test".

Then I noticed, it wasn't the shaft wobbling, it was the swash plate. Looking at it closely, it seems the bearing in the swash is lop-sided. As the head comes to a standstill you can see the control arms tracing small circles.

Anyone else noticed this? Can't see that it matters much but seems weird.

Are you running your inspection with servo pushrods attached to the swashplate?

I've seriously have done a lot of messing with the rotar system, and yes the swash plate can cause slight wobble in the system. I wrap a small tiny piece of tape around the endlink that goes into the servo arm to take the play out of that spot. Also check your servos for slop. Make sure you have oil on the main shaft where the swash rides, and make sure your swash bearing is smooth and lubed. Also make sure you servos arn't slightly jittery from signal their getting.
