Also helihobby has the hornet CP titanium shafts for $12, all you have to do is cut it shorter and drill 2 holes, but its gonna be pretty hard to drill them.

I was working on having some made, but the machine shops don't want to mess with small quantity...

I have a hornet titanium shaft. I was thinking about doing that, but, we don't have small enough drill bits. Might see if our machine shop can do it.
Still can't believe they sent a "new" bent shaft. The whole reason I sent it back and not one person could clear a big enough spot off their desk to roll the damn thing across and see if it was straight
I just can't catch a break with these micros. Shouldve listened to everyone and just started out with nitro.

Don't suppose a Centruy rep would like to chime in here anytime soon?

i never had a problem with the elite shafts. I think there in such a hurry to get these parts out the quality control is poor. use a Jobbers drill bit #60 for the holes. I'm thinking of ordering one and doing it myself.

Guess the reps don't want to touch this one. All I want to see is someone there admitting there's a problem with these shafts and maybe that they are working at correcting it. That's not too much to ask.

It's not a matter of admitting.... I hate to touch such topic, because I know first hand how much the 3D PRO out of the box is capable of doing. (it's a handfull, due to it's power)......................... And I hate to argue for parts, that cost so little, hoping that it's not "A" part that covers, a bad setup, a small amount of wobble, does not affect hover flying.

I have been away, hopefully tonight I can get log on and share will you all once again.

Don't get me wrong. I love this heli. My problem is that I was shipped a new 3Dpro with a bent main shaft. Then, after getting an RMA # and shipping the shaft back, I receive a "new" shaft that was bent. It's not the price I care about. Nothing on this heli is expensive. It's that fact that I could buy 100 main shafts and they would probably all be bent. Like I said previously, I would have paid extra money for quality parts if that's what it took and from my experience so far with these main shafts, they are not quality.

Well, obviously going through Centruy didn't do any good getting the problem resolved, did it?

If you haven't used it, I would stick it in a 50cent padded envelope and send it back and ask for them to exchange it. Call them and tel them your sending it back and want to exchange it. Thats all you can do.

How many times will it take to get a straight shaft?

Now read the troubleshooting section in the instructions under the question: Why is there vibration? Hmm, do I listen to him or the instructions?

I checked 3 main shaft randomly, I did not find a flaw in each shaft.

This shaft issue it inconclusive, Century team is on top of things we rand all scenarios or what "If's" and "Possibilities" for we are the only manufacturer that you can actually get a hold off in this hobby. So we listened and we react by inspecting the parts.

We did not find and flaws. Okay, there is a flaw in your shaft, you claim that it's bent.... The second shaft that was sent most probably 100% inspected when it left the warehouse.

So what now? The second shaft is the same as the first one. The only solution that I comes in my mind is to get an after market part, if you so claim, that the quality of our shaft is poor.

OK...There you go...You went and did it...Calling the customer a liar(not in so many words, but, you did). Read a post the other day where your company had done the same with a gasser customer. Why stop now?

Why the F#$% would I care about a $10 part other than the fact that you people can't send me a straight one? No wait, you just tested 3 randomly and none of them were flawed. Well, there you have it, you are right, I am wrong. The original kit didn't have one installed, the replacement wasn't straight. So, there, I'm calling you the liar!

Members here calls me all time, and I've heard all mods and the whatnots. I've rand all scenarios, I spent my a chunk of my paycheck putting my 3D Pro. in a ridiculous crash test. I don't ask the company to give me free parts, because I want the data to myself.

So far, out of the box, I have been successfull.. We are not different you and I, but I spend my time, sweating for a sweet rewards of good setup helicopter.

Shafts are been, then so, I will bring this up during tech support. I will also forward this Alarming issue to Dennis Cica, let me reassure you, that we are on top of this and have found no flaw, if there is such, we would have revised the shafts.

Whatever dude. I'm done with you. You've personally managed to create yet another pissed off Century customer. Bring that up at the next meeting.

Are you a liar?

Ok..... Now, the light is starting to shine. I fear of forum hijacks, and I fear that you would response in such. Members thinks that Century is vulnerable from forum "stick em' up" write up's, and will usually give in just to hush them up.

After I read this topic yesterday, and as soon, as I got to work, I checked the shafts.
