Who has the best deals on Glass Blades? How do those Funkey Blades rate from Heli-World? You can get 2 sets of 680mm blades for 109.95.
Price is good, but are the blades good?

those blades from Fun-Key sold at heli-world, $40 for a set of 550mm blades, are SWEET!! they are cheap, but they track very nicely and are more precise in flying... MUCH better than my 550 woodies!!

one set sells for $40, 2 sets sell for $75. great deals!

I think the quality of the FunKey is better than the quality of the AB hobbies. However you can get 3 sets of the AB blades for the same price as two of the Funkey. I look at it this way the AB are way better than wood and just a little more money. The AB 600's were balanced perfect with matching CG and all. The glass finish had some pin hole blemish and one was tight in my blade grips. The FunKeys I've used were very good quality and auto nice. They were also balanced out of the box.

ctseaplane,
I tried the link you mention above but it does not work? How do I get to AB Hobbies?

I have not moved off of my Raptor 30 wood blades. I currently have 2 Raptors and would like to look into getting better blades. Of course I am not performing 3d yet (5months flying).

I’m wondering if the AB fiberglass blades are the same as the Funkeys ?? Did anyone else notice the AB logo after Funkey logo on the century page that show’s the Funkey blades.

I tracked down the manufacturer or at least the distributor of the AB blades http://www.theworldmodels.com/Acces.htm# look down the page and you will see the blades.

Century told me that they will upgrade a crash kit with Funkey fiberglass blades for only $20 more For the 600mm blades. It might be less for shorter blades

I would really like some feed back on the AB blades
