| Well I tightened up my gear mesh since I saw small amounts of Delrin dust on my side frames from the first couple flights. But I think I just learned something about the ION setup. If you have spooled up the head, flown and landed. You must completely stop the motor before taking off again. After flying a bit for 5 minutes I landed and made a small adjustment in my pitch curve and left the head spinning slowly powered my the motor and after I made the adjustment in my transmitter I moved the stick up a tad and BUUUUZZZ!!!!!!!!! The head instantly tried to go to 80% and the copter spun around violently about 3 times and stripped the Tail Drive Gear. I guess since I didn't completely stop the head, the speed controller didn't do a slow ramp up. I guess it goes without saying the stock motor has plenty enough power to tear the azz out of the gears whenever it likes. Oh well. $25 later I'll be back in the air. Any info on this topic would be great.
