Well, I just set my 'wayback' machine into reverse
and can tell you the YS91 is a stunning
performer but requires high nitro fuel and
lots of it.

G'day Marc, how's the new Eagle going?

I can't remember where I read this, it said the YS91 would be released in the States at the end of the 4th quarter or in 1st quarter of next year.

Also word is it puts out 4hp!

Cheers,

Kev.

I flew my Webra 91 this weekend and am very impressed. Only got two tanks through it at the moment, but like what I see.

The YS 91 should be no more demanding of high nitro fuel than the 80, which runs beautifully on anything from 15 to 30% nitro (and like an electric motor on 5%, only with sig. less power). I watched the fuel consumption closely on Todd and Jason's 91's at IRCHA, and it was not noticeably greater than the 80's.

When you say "electronic mixing " on the Webra carb, do you mean via a variable mixture carb using transmiter curves and inflight needle adjustment that changes with throttle/ stick movement ? Thanks , Bob
