Hello,
Where does one send Airtronics gear for service in the US? How would you rate the service received? Are they great like JR, questionable like Futaba, or somewhere in between? What is the average turn-around time? Are the charges fair?

Just curious. I've always been curious about a Stylus and am working a deal for one.

Thanks,
John

Airtronics products get serviced in Anaheim, CA. I sent my RD6000 in for service about 2 years ago and liked that they did. I sent it in because I noticed the screen had faded. It only did it when it was outside and would stay that way for a while. It is a safely feature for the LCD so that it doesn't get burnt out by the sun. While it was there I asked them to switch the throttle hold and flight mode switches. They did that for free for me. They did a great job. They sent a log of what happened so that you know what they did and when. I haven't had anything serviced by anyone else, but I would say Airtronics would get A for customer service/repair from me.

hey
i broke my antenna off like 2 weeks after i had bought my Airtronics RD8000 brand new
i couldn't find a replacement antenna in stock for the RD8000 anywhere but i found an RD6000
not knowing if that one would work....i called technical staff and they patched me through right away
was very please adn the fellow on the other end was very kind to me.....i snet it into them just to be safe and they had it back very fast and not it works great!!!!
just like it did before

very pleased and i would say you won't be dissappointed for what they cost and it has all the features of the other radios....just not as expensive
if you are looking to buy a radio though go with the RD8000 and save yourself some money now instead of upgrading later......

GREAT RADIO

Thanks

Radio Service for ATX in the US is handled out of their Anaheim facility. Their service policies are listed on their website: www.airtronics.net

Parts and service are handled directly as opposed to a distributor handling the service and parts support.

Give Bobby Tom or Brian Tucker a call and they can provide assistance.

I've been flying these radios since my first CS5H was purchased in 1981and like the radios a lot. Service has been excellent both in getting it for updates and maintenance and not needing it due to high reliability.
