Anyone know why Helitech is getting out of the TSK parts business?

Also, what would one have to do to reproduce TSK parts for sale legally? Or reproduce the model? Would there be any patent infringements?

The way I understand it, Helitech Never really got into the parts business except to sell some old stock.

They had/have a great looking and sounding website, but was about as far as it went.

Good luck with your chopper parts/kit making idea.
I volunteer to be a factory rep.
Just send me over a kit and some goodies to go with it.

How much you give me for my cherry TSK 46 carbon?
Just kidding, I better hang on to it so I can have one nice one to look at.

hi tim , i too love my tsks and i am in the prosses of haveing some parts made like what you said . mostly crash parts for know my guy told me he could make any part on the helis that i need . he was going to run off a few shafts and spindles to start and see how i like them . then main frames sets . then ?

Booms....

You can get Mystar 60 tail booms at Vario USA.Look for the 20 x 810 mm tail booms.They are of a much better quality and come in different colors too!Look at the prices, NOT BAD.

 I too am a TSK lover.....That sucks helitech is out of business.
I have a older TSK its a Kaiser ace.....I recently crashed and had new side frames made. I recieved three complete sets for around 240$.
The guy I used actually cuts carbon for Mr. Carbon. He was very cool about helping me out. The only bummer was I had to draw them in auto cad...that sucked. I think he will even do that for you too (extra cost)

I have 3 TSK MyStar 46s flying. One in a Funky Long Ranger and the other two with OS 50s.

I was lucky and when it came out that TSK was going out of business I picked up a couple of complete sets of mechanics and lots of other spare parts.

I still fly them a lot but I'd hate to crash one of them. They are kind of like having a vintage sports car.

It's too bad that somone didn't pick them up to continue what was one of the best machines around.

You know, flying would not have to be such a concern if parts were readily available and reasonable. That's why I'm looking into making the parts myself and selling enough to help fund this obsession while helping out others as well.

I would be great to fly 'em like a cheap plastic model.

well i'll let all of you know how i do with the parts thing . so far not to bad . i got tail booms lined up and as soon as i get the prices on the shafts and frame parts i'll let you all know . i am trying to keep the prices way down and that is one of the things thats takeing so long plus i am not loaded . lol
