Hi,
I'm still learning on my LMH but I'm now ready for a bigger one. I know that the Raptor 30 and the Hawk 4 are both good helis, but how do you compare Venture 30 to those helis? Is it an overall better heli? I don't know wich one I should choose. I'm looking for a reliable and trouble free heli

Just my opinion, but JR seem to specialise in "reliable and trouble free"

I dont know about the Hawk but I would buy the Venture over the Raptor.

about the spare parts for the Venture, are they expensive to compare with the Raptor and Hawk?

Also, is this heli ready to fly out of the box without needing upgrades?

no they should be on par with the raptor JR Venture is manufactured in China so parts should be cheap. The JR Voyager line is manufactured in Japan so its more expensive.

Do you think that a cluch for the Vigor/Ergo should cost 50.00 bucks. When it is made in china, JR just marks up the price. Dont get me wrong, I like JR, I own the servo's, I use there radio, but come on, that a cluch for the Vigor that sells for 50.00 bucks( and used in the Ergo) and a Rappy 30 cluch, for 15.00. JR needs to come to terms with there product line, and demand and Economic down turn.
Thunder Tiger Rappy 30 is the best thing going in the 30 class. NO one can beat it, when you own the market-share the prices come down. Now in the 60 class the fury is the best thing going, Thunder Tiger Is on the way I have seen the Rappy 60 fly, it's not that bad, and for 450.00. they will start taking market-share again. JR needs to come to terms? Don't get me wrong, I'm sticking with my Vigor
I'm just saying, you as the cunsumer; YOU do the pricing and you find what you want?

I agree with you that some JR stuff is over priced, BUT; is it JR or Horizon though??? One of several examples.....I wanted to replace the bushinged (is that a word?) washout arms on my R22 Ergo 50 with arms that had bearings, I checked through a lot of part#'s only to find the same part# listed for my Vigor CS and the Ergo.....the arms will fit the Ergo fine if you also use the Vigor washout base(aluminum). In all fairness I did have to modify the base slightly. The Vigor part on Horizon's site is listed at $16.80 or close to that, keep in mind the pic shows ONLY the plastic arm. On Rick's site the EXACT same part #, only instead of the part listed as a Vigor part....it's listed as "gasser" washout arms. This part comes with ALL the hardware...I.E. flanged bearings, mounting bolt, ball and bolt, spacer and the SAME plastic arm etc.....the price you ask?? $14.63!!!! Now tell me who is gouging and who isn't????.....

It seems that just because it's a Vigor part it MUST be worth more!! Crappy marketing is all I can say.....
