Hi Charlie,

I am a long time customer and I want to say thanks for your hard work with the Lipo batteries.

I have 3 sets of 10s4p Gen2Lites and was wondering if I upgrade to the new Prolites, what I can expect in terms of power, less heat, lighter weight, etc? Would I be safe to go to a 10s3p config since these new batts are rated to deliver higher currents? My 10s4p sets are doing great and have been extremely stable but I can always use less weight with more power!

Rumor is that you may have a upgrade program. True?

As always, thanks for your response.

Hi John,
Thunder Power made one improvement to the "lite" cell in 1-3-2005
it runs about 15 degree F cooler and 1.5V higher in voltage in a 10S pack.
The Pro Lite cell to be released next week when compared to the original Lite cell, deliver about 25% more power and pack temperature should be 25 degree F coolor

We had not compared the Pro Lite 6000 vs the Lite 8000, but are ready to release the Pro Lite 6000-5S3P next week, we are planing to have an upgrade program for the Lite pack dated from August 2004 to 1-2-2005.

Thank you for your support

Regards,
Charlie
