Ive been running my R60, TT70, Zimmerman muffler on CP 30% with good results, But it is starting to get expensive in the uk, with me using 3 gals a week plus 2 gals of 10% in my other helis. I have just picked up a used stainless steel Hatori ? pipe & header for 15$.
I would like to try this pipe and CP15% on my TT70. My question is , What length should I cut the header to ? for a 1850 head speed.

PS . Do you measure from the piston to the first baffle ?

if you want to use the new nitro pipe, you ca use up to 15% nitro, no problems,.its created for low nitro.
its a new muffler that almost 1 month since produced, with very good responces

After not getting any info on the above post ,I went out and got myself a mucle pipe and some C/P 15% . After running 30% I leaned both needles slightly, I flew the first tank out and I was pleased with the performance, when I started it up the next time the engine run backwards.I stopped it and tried agian this time engine hydrauliced.
so I did the norm ,plug out , clamp fual off and turn engine over . I then leaned the bottom end a little more. It then started up a further 3 times to find it still running backwards. by this time had go and I will not be able to try it again till next tuesday due to work commitmance. Has any body got any idea,s what the problem is, Better still , The needle settings for a TT70 ,Mucle pipe and C/P 15% .
