Just a nubee question, Is it nessary to jb weld the pressure tap in on the muffler? Thank you for any suggestions.

If it is a screw in type just screw it in. I normally don't even use locktite on this connection, it seems to stay just fine.

I think (and I know I do) most folk use JB
for the pressure tap.

I usually use red loctite on it, and screw it in as tight as possible without stripping. Red loctite does break down under these kinda heat enviroments, but it does tend to help slightly. Daz..

I use JB Weld now. Had one of these come off in flight. Ever since then have used JB to keep it in.

Nope, never had a problem but perhaps I should follow suit and use JB Weld. I don't see any negatives with using it.
I'm always learning something new....
