| Today was the first day I actually got to enjoy my Rex. Blue skies, no wind, big smooth asphalt driveway. Pitch and throttle curves set up correct (thanks Nigel!), just the right amount of expo on the cyclic, and a freshly charged battery. The Rex felt so smooth and stable, I couldn't imagine it getting any better. Except for the gyro. I have my 9Cap in gyro mode, with rate at 45% and HH from 30% to 60%. The problem is while in HH mode, the heli wants to spin slowly following the last rudder input. Switch to rate, and it is solid as can be. My servo is not reversed, no slop, not binding. I didn't move the heli while the gyro was initializing, as I had a solid red light in HH mode. Not sure what to do, because just a week ago (before hitting my lawnmower with the mains) the gyro worked perfectly in HH mode. The case doesn't look like it was hit. I'm stumped. |
