| Yep, I tried that while having the motor mounted in my Vise and cranking it with the heli pipe installed. No prop or anything just the whole clutch fan and bell assy as it is in the heli. I know..... not the norm but it works!
All the fuel passages in the carb case seem to blow free of blockage, the needles are nice and smooth (no gouging), and I have fuel spitting out the intake of the carb as I'm cranking. I've tried the low needle set from .5 to out to where the O-ring starts to show in .25 turn increments. Still the same thing.
I haven't messed with it in a few days as real work has interfeared but I'll get back at it tonight.
Thanks David.
