| I had a spare Futaba R137HP PCM rx from a transmitter kit. It was too heavy for a micro (28 grams). The rex has an align RX (12 grams). Hmmm....
I pulled the case off the Futaba rx. it weighed in at 10 grams! sh$t. almost half the weight. lol
a bit of heatshrink later, I had a 18 gram rx. Still 6 grams over the align one, but I gain an extra channel and PCM1024. I trimmed an odd bit of frame plastic and got the difference to 4 grams. Ahhh. Thats not much. I can live witht that.
my AUW without trying is 638grams. Im using heavy jet power fung battery and the align 70 gram 2500L motor. Im sure there could be as much as 100 grams to shave off (inc a CF frame). PS im already usin ccpm
