about the vids, Augusto promised us a nice set of videos after tthe weekend - we are all waiting Augusto !!

Avant

I finished up all of the mechanical and some tx work on my Avant. Pictures were sent to Augusto to check out. Setting up the CCPM (my first CCPM heli) was interesting at first. Once Augusto explained some concepts and gave me some tips, getting the swash level through the pitch range was not too bad.

BTW.... full pitch range was +14,0,-14!! Initial setup is 11,0,-10. Cyclic pitch was set at 6 degrees.

Probably won't get to fly it for a couple of weeks yet.

All that is left is throttle curves, gyro settings, and GV1 setup. I will also cut up a Freya canopy to fit until the Avant canopy comes back from Mort at Just Canopies.

Initial check shows balance is on the mark. Check my gallery for updated pictures.

Sorry guys but Sunday when we went to fly it was raining all day. We sat in the car most of the time or ferrying our stuff back and forth to the tables and the little video we shot was too dark. We are waiting for a good sunny day to go back during the week hopefully in the next couple of days.

Yeah, if you just HAPPENED to have some cool footage, and one of us just HAPPENED to see it and then tell a few people. They then tell a few people etc etc :P. Thats not you actively posting the vids but then we all get to know about it and see them.

But yes I3DM isnt the only one who wants to see them.
