| I bought a skid assembly but have been able to PlastiZap + Accelerator my Skid on the tethered model when it breaks. It broke a long time ago while I was learning and chopped the throttle from 9 feet up, and now it will always break in the same place if I do something stupid. But I just Zap it again. Same for the tail boom if you dork it up - Plastizap should make a great repair. I have not needed to rezap the skids in about 2 months so I must be getting better :-)
I still have the spare skids in the box.
I also found that the spare motors (about $8 ea) for the tethered version come with pinions, although I have not needed either spare motor or pinion yet with at least 600 minutes on the tethered motors.
I also bought a set of spare pinions before I found out the spare motors have them, so now I have a lot of pinions :-)
I am really hoping that I get that much time from my XRB SR motors. |
