shuttlepilot Elite Veteran Location: Mullins, South Carolina
| Well, I've flown a Q30 with a .50 engine in it for over 12 gallons of fuel, and had only 1 problem with one of the tail shaft bearings. Now, I'm not going to sit here and say that it is the greatest heli ever made, but I don't think it is junk. Also, I have some friends that had some problems with their Quicks, but not to the extent that was stated here. Now I can't say that I know about their intense 3d ability, because I'm not I guess what you would call a stick banging 3d pilot. The heli will perform loops, rolls, inverted, flips, and all other aeros that I am capable of without hitch or problem at all. The only upgrade I have done with mine is replacing the plastic blade grips with metal ones.
Also there are other sources for Japanese Quick helis that are imported straight from Japan.
