Amen to that, cant think of why Hirobo produces the silvercoloured tailboom. Got a black one for my XSpec, and now guess what, my Freya says she needs one to.

AAARGH!!! I chrashed my other Freya on last October and not yet fixed it.When I see these pictures it starts screaming in my carage
"I WANT TO BE AN AVANT!!!" and i can´t even sleep from that noise.

So,if i convert my std.Freya to Avant i need:
-Avant kit
-0404-044 fan shroud
-Fan shroud mountig bracket,don´t find a number,can somebody help me?
Do i need something else, how about yoke,can i use std. plastic?

Addtionally you will need:

0404713 - shroud bracket
0404677 - fuel tank cushion
0414123 - canopy standoff if you're using the plastic ones now
0414169 - delrin tail gear (optional if you already have the new shaft)
and yes, the plastic yoke works fine.

0404651 - black boom (totally personal taste!)

Avant

After about 3.5 hours, I am ready to start the right side assembly.

Overall the frame setup is straight forward. There are some inconsistancies in the manual, I will get them over to Augusto.

So far the fit and finish is top notch.

I did disassemble my Freya and separated the parts the manual called for prior to assembly and bagged each part. This made assembly much faster like a standard kit.

I can see some area's where Augusto put some thought into the design and assembly order.

lol... Augusto... you were correct, I need to the EX boom clamp blocks for my CF boom.

Augusto, I will also be emailing you some information.

Speaking from experience, be patient, but follow up with an email to customer service and ask for expected shipping date, and confirmatiion when shipped.

Is there anywhere a list with parts you need from the Freya kit to build the Avant?
Or is it cheaper to buy a standard Freya kit instead of the parts separatly?

I just counted it, it is much cheaper to buy a std. Freya kit than all parts You need separately.Read these,there is much more about Avant:

i intend to use a black boom on my avant when it arrives.
do i need a special boom mount for the carbon fiber type and another for the metal type ?
