That is some great flying Alan..

If you look back in the posts, you will see that Alan tells you what the head speed was. I'm pretty sure he would know.

Just fantastic. Any clue on how to slow the vid down so a humble mortal can follow it?

Words are not needed to describe that flight. Silence says it all.

Great. Looks like that video just cost me about a million dollars! Thats about how many helis it will take to get to the middle of that Tootsie Roll.

Kudos out to the man videoing. That in itself was impressive as well.

Thanks you all.

I'm from France and i don't find the word for describing what i see.
I think i have all your flight video available on the net but what's happens during this flight ? your skill increase again. It's fantastic.
You are a "booster" for us. Thks a lot

I would just like to add my thanks to Alan for allowing his amazing flying to be filmed and posted on here. It must be very tempting to keep your practise flights private when you are at the top level of competition. I think its fantastic the way you post on here and allow us to see such great flying.

That has to be the best flying I have ever seen well done Alan it must take lots and lots of hard work to achieve that standard.

I hope your Full size flying is also coming on well.

All the best for now.

Alan you are insperation to us all. Well not that I think I will ever get near that flying ability.
This is probably the best flying vedio I've seen and it do's look like Alan just keep on getting better.
Thanks and keep it up, Eran.

Have a nice day :)

Yes his servos in that machine are 16 months old. Same helicopter and equipment that was used in the 2004 XFC and 3D Masters.

Isn't that just asking for a mechanical failure somewhere along the line?

So who has a suggestion as to how long is too long to keep servos in a heli?

I don't know. I just think with the sheer volume of flying he does and the agressive nature of it the servos must be taking some beating.

Amazing and inspiring

Hi!

After we have seen that vid serveral times we went out to the field to to the same.
The only thing that happened was that our flights were a little lower over the ground. And we were more courageous.

Who will get him in the near future?

That was wild.....
I saw Danny fly late last year and was in awe the entire flight. Can't wait to see these two fly together.

It must natural for Raptors to fly like that, mine do that kind of stuff just before impact!
