Its about 25 degrees and windy in Ohio and I want to fly! I have a nice size building that I could fly a little electric. These helis seem reasonable. How are they? Any thoughts are greatly appreciated. Thanks.

I fly my T-REX in a friends warehouse, it's great to maintain flying skills, gentle figure 8's and such.. I think you should go for it!

This heli can pick up speed really fast. Its not a slow flyer. Make sure you have sufficient space. A wharehouse might be good. It not really an indoor heli unless you just want to do gentle flying. Even then it can pick up and get away from you pretty fast.

Hi Chopper_crazy,
How much heli experience do you have?
I have flown my small fixed pitch Piccolo in very small spaces, and just moved up to the T-Rex. I don't think that the T-Rex would be the ideal beginner, but if you have prior experience, it is great!

I'm very new to heli's, flown my dragonfly 2 since xmas, now have my rex up and running. I've been hovering it in my garage, or taking it to my warehouse when I feel the need to fly high. It took a while to get setup, but it's great now! It really takes a beating and keeps on going with minimal repairs and replacements.

My friend who's been flying nitro heli's for 4 years flew my dragonfly and told me it was way harder to control than his raptor 30v2. I've got a sweet Raptor 50 v2 just waiting for nice weather, and he feels I'll be flying it with no problem after watching me with my dragonfly.

Then, he watched me fly my rex, and tried it himself, he said it was way way way harder to control than his rex, and once again, seeing me fly that, said I'll have absolutely no problem with flying my r50v2, and that he looks forward to what i'll be teaching him this spring
