| All you need is a thin sheet of g-10 or carbon fibre
just print out this simple protractor i downloaded from a google image search
cut a hole in the center of the paper when it is printed out and slip slide your main shaft throught that hole. Then do you drilling on your homemade swash adapter ring. ( we'll assume that you have searched on the previous threads.
you can use PVC , Plastic, Carbon fibre, G-10, or even plywood.)
Just line up the drill with the correct line and drill. Then add Balls
cut a 2cm wide peice of CF or G-10 etc and then dremel (i used my tile saw) a knotch out the center. This is the antirotation guide
this is the antirotation guide which if you look down the page i lightened and simplified later on in the night. I screwed in on each side of the frame for easy replacement vs gluing
these are just little squares of CF for the front servo mounts. the tini peices are to angle the servos outward so the arms don't touch the frame. Superglue them on
servo mounts glued on then add shoe goop or silicone to adhear servos
Dremel out a square for the elevater (rear) servo and screw it on. Very simple
only preference but i decided to solder the motor wires directly to the speed controll board.you have to remove the rubber shrink wrap and add your own. while the board was exposed i shortened the servo wire in half. then i took of the sticker from the stock speed controll and put it on the new white shrink wrap. Much better and alot less wires.
I added a slivver of CF to the insides of the frame so i could shove the T/R servo and Gyro excess wires in the frame out of site. When i am finished there will be no wires bundeled up ziptied to the outside of the frame. I was just having fun with my little sheet of CF
shoe goop dried and a view of the lightened A/R arm. the antirotation arm is screw with one screw on each side just below the CF servo mounts.
Finsished , well just with the 120 ccpm. The servos used were GWS nano +F HP. CHeap and fast AND strong. 3 for 40 dollars.
i will be using a hs-50 for the T/R.
