e-Align T-REX 450-500-600 > Hitec servo arms for T-rex

I bought a used T-rex 450x with 3x HS55 and 1xHS50. I was told that there's no servo arms on the heli, so I'm supposed to buy that on my own. I'm looking at this site:

http://www.servocity.com/html/hitec_micro_horns.html

What kind of servo arms can I buy for the hitec servos for a T-rex that I haven't received yet?

Thanks in advance.

The servos will come with a set of servo arms. All servos do...

Be carefull to use a HS-55 for the collective. I had one burn out on me in that position. I have a HS-56 there now (more torque) and it's a lot better.

Hey,

The link shows the larger horns for the standard type servos. Your gonna need the mini horns..,

http://www.servocity.com/html/hitec_mini_horns.html
I'd say get the mini BD and mini X. Get a few spares as shipping is way more then those arms.

Hey dnam
The 56 is not more powerful, just faster. Has a beter gear train.

happy flying

hs-55 and hs-50 are the sub-micro servos. it is not mini or micro servos. good luck for finding the servos horn.

not sure the micro horn will fit

It was in the air, but now it's on the ground. :)

Which servo do you use the X-arm(s), Lite DB arm(s) and Thick DB arm(s)?
Thanks

was checking out that site and was curious if the HS-81 would fit in there for collective? I was all set to get an HS-56 but realized it actually had 1 ounce less torque than the Hs-55. Any info would be appreciated, sorry to going off the topic of your thread, but hopefully you got the info you needed, that is a nice site btw, been having a hard time finding an hs-50 gearset.

I think most are using the light db arms, at least that is what I have seen used in most pictures as well as what I am currently using, good luck!
great prices on those horns btw :-)

You are right. The specs actually show the HS-55-s to have 1oz-in more torque, but it sure doesn't feel that way.

I put a Hitec HS56 on the collective after using a HS55 for about 1 month. Made a noticeable difference. The collective servo is the one you really need to be precise. The HS56 is much much better. Everyone will agree. Link to HS55 or 50 control horns
