Hi all,

I am currently looking into the possibility of forming another RC helicopter club in the St. Louis, Missouri area. My fellow heli pilots and myself feel that in order to have a louder voice in what goes on at the field we fly at, a club will be necessary. Our primary flying site is a public field which is governed by an association of area clubs who all use the field to varying degrees. I have asked what is needed to form a club from the locals, but I can never seem to get a good straight answer. I was hoping that someone here could shed some light on the subject. I would like to know basically everything we will need to do in order to form an AMA recognized club. Please keep in mind that we are just your "average Joe" flyers who know nothing about what is needed. Thanks for any help you guys can provide. Emailing is preferred since I dont get back to the forum much.

Thanks again,
Eric
