Guys,

When it's DEAD, FLAT calm outside, the XRB is a lot of fun. You'd be amazed ot how fast it will climb (though max forward flight speed stays pretty slow). In any case, watch your pack charge CLOSELY. When you fly inside, it's easy to tell when the pack is starting to dump. If you're at about 12 feet outside when the pack goes, you don't notice it until you're coming down FAST. Read "fast" to mean a poorly controlled crash. I was lucky and didn't hurt anything, but if I had been 15-20 feet up, it would have been no different than tossing the little thing out a second story window of your house. Be careful; these things don't auto .

I have been lucky enough to enjoy 2 or 3 dead flat calm outdoor flights with my XRB SR - and I too experienced the yellow flashing light forced landing - from about 12 feet up - & broke a blade or two. It was very cold outside and I think the Li-Po pack wasn't giving its all. I was only up for maybe 4-6 minutes.

But it is nice to have a little more room to fly the circuits.
