I have been considering putting a GWS 6 receiver in my T-Rex. Have not purchased one yet. It is ligther than the Hitec Electron and could be had for much less money. Any feedback on this?
Thanks Willie

nothing positive on my end. That's the one area I definitely wouldn't skimp on....paying twice as much for a great receiver (I use the JR R700)actually makes sense to me in this case.

Yeah best to go with a Dual Conversion RX. Hitec electron 6 is what I got, others use the Bergs, etc....

I have the 6 channel GWS receiver. There is nothing wrong with it but it lacks range.

My advice is for you to take a look at the FMA receivers. Light, dual conversion and full range.

Nothing wrong with GWS until there are more flyers turn on their radio. It doesn't busy field with nearby frequencies.

Even the Electron has its problem occasionally. Berg is probably the most bullet proof RX in that size range.

Berg all the way! It is by far the best rec. out there and I know because I have used them all! Once you try on you will never go back to ant thing else!!

GWS is a bad idea for EP micro heli application. It will glitch and that is not something you want. Mainly for safety reasons.
