I'm going to get my first heli and it is going to be a T-REX and I was wondering if anyone could point me in the right direction as to where to buy training gear or should I just build my own, if built what would be the best way. Also could anyone tell me the differance between the 401 gyro and the 240.

BETTER TO MAKE YOUR OWN
get some carbon rods 4 table tennis balls
and use tie straps to fix it
but get some one to set it up for you

The 401 is a bit heaver, and you can program from transmitter, the 240 doesn't have the capability to be programmed from the transmitter. However once you set it, it really doesn't matter, so save the weight and go for the 240 if you don't have one yet.
I'm running a 401 only because I had a spare.

Thanks for the help. I don't know anybody that flies helis so I probably won't be able to get any help setting up the training gear, so I'm guessing you make the gear about the same length as the heli.
