I have several flights on my new XRB wireless (about 8-10) and have noticed one thing - this sucker is noisy! I'm not talking about the general whirring of the blades and motors, but a screech that occurs at about 3/4 stick. The tone changes from nice and smooth to an obnoxious screech. Is this normal or do I have an issue with my XRB?

Thanks,
Angelo

Problem solved. I was talking to my friend John (thepoint) and he brought up that the gear mesh is somewhat adjustable. Sure enough, I reset the gear mesh for the lower rotor and the screech went away. I'm off and flying again. Thanks John.

I loosened the 2 screws on the pinion side of the motor, slid a piece of tissue between the gears and tightened the screws. Theres enough play in there for a little bit of adjustment.
