had a yellow blinking led today on my xrb? any clue what this means?

Its not a yellow light. When the heli is in perfect trim at hover, the red and green light should flash at the same time. It might give off a color that looks yellowish orange. Its good when both flash together. It means the heli is not trying to turn left or right. each turning movement causes the light to blink either red or green.

Hi FDNY260!

I have also a XRB SR Lama.

It's blinking orange when the battery (polymer- Battery) is not fully charged or when the battery is low charged!!! You must charge it!!!

I have also noticed the LED seems to blink yellow when the battery is low - you don't have much time to land before it will land itself after you see the yellow light :-)

This is not the same as the red/green blinking or seemingly even the same as the orange you get when you first power up before arming the motor. It really seems a distinct yellow. I have only seen it maybe 3 times - and each time the XRB was at the end of it's flight time - and 2 of those times it landed itself with Yellow light blinking away - hard landings - and tipped & broke blades at least once I remember.

Now I do not try and fly every mAh out of the battery - and if I see any yellow blinking I settle in fast for a landing.
