Ok I know that this question has been asked before but I am still looking for some info. I am going to be purchasing a 60-90 size heli and have narrowed it down to the Nova or Mille. Don't take this wrong but I am not interested in the SE. I want to know some true oppinions on these two helis. I do not do too much extreme stuff (3D). yet that is. Someday maybe. I want to know which is better and why. Any thoughts on these two would be great in helping me make a decision.

Thanks

Scott

Hi,

check my page for some pics of my Nova.

The Mille2 is said to be about 150g lighter than the Nova. It's simple drivetrain should be more effective (with the high teeth count it's probably the most effective on the market anyway).

The Nova has more gearing ratios, but you can get the most important ones for the Mille too. The frame is a bit stiffer. The belt is said to run a bit smoother.

If you wan't to fly F3C or a 1.8m scaler try the Nova. For 3D only the Mille is great too (with some carbon parts you can get the weight below 4.5kg).

The most important stuff (TR/Main rotor/45deg ccpm Mixing) remains the same, the Mille is cheaper. The conversions for the Mille are cheaper too...

Andi

if you want to go with a big motor 80 or 90 go for the nova,
more gearing options are available,

I fly 2 novas with the ys 80's and they have unlimited 3d performance.
I like the belt drive so I'm alittle biased.
the belt makes for a ez engine alienment, the clutch is bullet proof, and the belt makes for a smoother and quieter running ship.

that's just my 2 cents

Hi,

the pipe works fine, but I had problems with the mounting - the current mufflers come with M4 instead of M3...

For zero nitro it's a great joice if you don't want to deal with a tuned pipe.
