Why do the canopy mounting holes 5-8mm out of position from the standoffs? Also the rubber grommets are too tight around the standoffs. Looks like the holes in the canopy are too large and in the wrong place!!!!

I am very surprised that Hirobo let this slip past their quality control. I have built 4 Hirobo helis so far and this is the first quality issue I have encountered. This is totally embarrasing for them, as this is clearly a simple mistake which they could have easily avoided. It seems like that nobody checked the kit afterwards when it went into production by actually test building the thing.

Anyone know what they have done to correct this problem?

Welcome to owning a Sceadu! The problem you are refering to is one that most Sceadu owners to date had issues with. Check out my site under tips/upgrades in the Sceadu section and see what I have done to make it work.

In one sentence: I shaved the bump off the mounting posts and used armorall on the rubber grommets. It hs been working fine for the last 35 flights, no problems at all.

I just put bigger rubber grommets and that fixed it.
