I had none of those problems in assembling one of my two kits ...but the second one was already assembled .The only problem i had is sanding the carbon tail shaft to put the bearings on . I will ask Stephane Monfette , one guy in the club , who got a new kit how it's going on with his assembly .
Can you make a list of the problems you encountered and send it back to Etienne ??? i think this helicopter is still fairly new and we might help them set it up correctly . I still remember the first hornet II i build ... what a pain ( and it never flew corectly ) . And i still remember my first eolo 2 years ago ... it was fairly new on the market also and had those type of problems ( but this one fly verry , verry good now ) . I know it can be frustrating sometime ... but stick with it , it will reward you . Helnet and i know that it fly verry well .
By the way , keep in mind that this is a micro . Building 50 or 60 size helicopters is fairly differents . There is no way to compare both . (All thoses parts are so small ... if i compare the Maxir to a Shogun , T-rex , hornet II or picolo pro , the Maxir is a blast !!! it's the first time i run over 20 flight without incident on a micro ( ask me about the shogun tail pinion and tail shaft , broke on me three time ) . , and ask me about the 1000$ i spend on three hornet II kits and end up trowing everything in the garbage !!! ( ok , not everything , i still have the servos , speed control , gyro , etc ) .
I can see that you are in the Montreal area . If you whant to join us , we fly indoor saturday morning and sunday night . PM me if you whant more informations .
Keep us informed , it's good to have other guy reviews and opinions . Thanks a lot !!!
