I think I solved this one but for those following in my footsteps could someone please confirm the following. The little brass tube that is supposed to go in the main rotor blade is too small for the M4x30CS Cap screw to fit threw and should not be used.

Ditto for the washers
Make sure you follow the instructions and cut the shrink wrap and glue the plastic grips onto the wood of the blades.
