I broke "ANOTHER" set of woodies yesterday.... I bought mine at HHI and they set me back 25 bucks for a set of ATP's///.. but lately I seem to be going through them like water... SOOO... I am obviously NOT going to shell out butt cash for some carbons... What is the popular opinion for CHEAP but decent woodies,,, 550mm size..?? and where should I be placing my next order for 3 or 4 sets of them... heliproz has blades for 16.99.. sound okay..??

Maverikk Woodies

JagBoy

If you are talking about the Maverikk woodies I got a set in my heli-proz Maverikk crash kit and have been flying them since I dorked my fiberglass blades (about 10 flights) and they seem much better than the stock TT woodies.

They were CG'd perfectly and balance was only a tiny bit off. Fixed with a piece of 3/4" wide piece of trim sheet on the CG. Of course, glued the roots too.

The shrink wrap on the blades was done well - nice and tight and still is after 10 flights, even the ends were sealed well although I touched them up with CA.
