My new Futaba 9253 high speed servo on my GY-401 set up has developed up and down endplay on the servo shaft I've contacted the service center, and will send it in, but this will result in machine down time. My older GY-401 setup in my Excell has been there for over a year, and that servo is still as good as the day I bought it. Somewhere in these forums, I read about this problem, but I can't seem to find that post. Did Futaba have some problems with these servos, and the bigger question is can I fly it like this. I just noticed the problem yesterday while checking over the machine, but it may have been like this for a little while. Common sense says send it in verses risking a crash, but I love flying the machine it is in [Falcon 50 SE2]. Any comments here will be appreciated.

It is never worth risking a repair bill!
Replace it or get it checked/serviced
