Self Inflicted Modification

Sir,

I don't know how to say this, but if you'd put the Left on the Left, and the Right on the Right, you would find that the said relief angle is already designed into the part for the required clearence.

Cheers,

Bruce

Humm, if you look carefully at his pic's you'll see that he has modified the setup by turning the bladeholders 180 degrees, and then you'll need to do it that way with the part in question !
I have read about that mod. somewhere but I'd love to hear
pro's and con's, anyone ?

Regards

They call it the "head flip" and yes when you flip the grips you have to flip the washout base and links, you must also reverse your collective servo and reset your pitch curves. I'm still running mine in stock form and have not had any problems, the head flip has cured blade flutter for some. Some people claim it makes the helicopter fly better more solid and responsive, others say it makes them a bit quirky, touchy.
