I've been looking at the JR Ergo 60 Sport at HeliProz. I wanted to know if it's a good buy for the money. Anywhere I can find some pics or movies? Would you recommend another 60 size heli? I'm looking to pick up my first 60. The only other heli I have is a raptor 30. Thanks

My first heli is an Ergo 60 Sport. In my opinion, it's possibly the best 60 to start with. Low parts count and easy to maintain. It's very stable in a hover so that makes it great for starting out. Plus it's inexpensive. I know they have discontinued them but they are still available. I just finished converting mine to a Schweizer 300 and it's huge. I'm going to try it out on Saturday.

I would imagine they would. There are a blue million flying so I would say JR would support them for a long time.

Ergo 60

I had one up until a crash. It was a great heli. I did not get it fixed (it would have been 155 to fix it) But I wanted a Freya like all of my friends had.

Here is a Video.

Parts should be available for some time. Remember Horizon has never said the Ergo 60 was discontinued, I've only seen that reference only in European magazines. Look how long it took them to import the Voyager 50 which has been availble overseas for at least a year. A lot of the parts can be found on the Vigor and smaller Ergos. My Ergo 60 flys well and is cheap to repair. Parts can be gotten easily as almost all hobby shops deal with Horizon.

Just one more thing, is it an easy building kit? Thanks again for all the help!
