I have an extra CC45A ESC and would like to use for my Trex. Do you think it will be too heavy for the Trex? I can always just get a 25a but I figured why not use this one if i could get away with it. What do ya think?

Best thing to do...

...is to have a look at the Castle Creations website.

I'm pretty sure that difference in weight is no more than 5g between the two and your performance would have to be very marginal for that to make a difference.

My guess is you wouldn't notice. If it were me I'd give it a go and see.

yeah i already did that...the 45a is almost twice as heavy at 30gr. The 25a is only 17gr. Plus the 45a is quite large, every little bit counts so I just went ahead and bought the 25a, got it for a good deal over ebay. thanks!
