Hello,

I need some help. I would like to mill some parts from carbon fibre plate. Can someone give me an idea of spindle speeds, and the best recommendation for cutting tools.

Thanks,

Oz

I've had some success with a 1.60mm solid carbide cutter running at 24,000 rpm feed rate about 1.5m/min.

HSS tools won't last five minutes.
