I think that most people are using Hitec HS-55's, with a HS-50 on the tail. That's what I put into mine. I can't comment on them yet, because I'm still waiting for my motor, controller and battery to come.

Go with 56's They kick A$$ !! I have them in my T REX and in my Shogun and I will never go back to the 55's again. They are money WELL spent.

I ordered the Himax 2025-4200, a Phoenix 25, and Thunder Power 3s 2100mAh battery. It sounds like people like that combo in the Zooms, so I'll start with that. If I'm not happy, I'll get a Hacker.

You can get a good deal at GRANDRC.com they sell a combo deal with a berg reciever or at MODEFOSHELI.com for just the 4 HS-56's.
