Hi guys, I have just noticed a cut ,halfway through my Futaba pcm receiver wire, where it enters the receiver box, and I would like to repair/replace it . I have tried to do this in the past but failed, a friend told me that I may have damaged it due to static build up on my fingers and me touching the circuit board. Can I just cut it back maybe loosing about 3/4 in and resoldering , will this alter the tuned length ? any help would be great Thanks Derek

It might be time to start building up that second machine.. Begin by buying a replacement receiver.... then I would send yours back to the manufacture and let them screw it up.. I fixed antennas on R/C cars before... but then again./.. we aren't talking about the same dollars and the ability to take your head off... I know when I am out of my league and I'd let the pros fix it...
