Idon't know about that one but I got the one from Tower $30 and it's all alu. works great.

ferris tube

I dont know if its the same thing but I ordered a boom from ricks and it came with an alum. tube centered in the boom. It worked fine until i altered the angle that the boom left the pod part of the heli.
