I have a couple airtronics RX. I'd like to buy several different RX xtals. Do I have to buy (or is it recommended and why) airtronics RX xtals or can I use the less expensive xtals from other mfgrs (e.g. hitec, etc.)

Use the ones that are made for the RX the crystals have different cuts to them some work some don;t It's not worth the few bucks you save to loose a heli over it.
