i was just wondering what parts are needed to go from the futura SS to the SE cause all i have heard about the SE is good, Good, GOOD!!. and with the SE being discontinued i might not get one in time and will have to settle for the SS.

Since the SS is already discontinued, you may not get one of those either. :-)

Differences - the SS has vice the SE:
plastic head
different flybar control arms
wire tail drive
thinner tail boom
plastic bottom frame member
plastic bearing holders in frame
plastic belt drive pulleys
moskito tail gearbox
no thrust bearings in tail
smoked plastic canopy
heavy paddles
different mainshaft
different main frames
bushings everywhere

The SS is a great learner machine and very nice for use in a scale body. The SE is just so much better though. Sell blood, a kidney or sperm and get the SE!

Actualy the SE has gotten a reprieve. They can be had now for around 650.00 if the shops still have them available. Check Rick's and Heliproz I think they both had the 650 price tag going.
